The Diner

Craving American food in Florence (I don’t judge)? Head to The Diner for an all-American menu including burgers, wraps, and breakfast foods served all day. Service is very poor but the food is delicious.

This little family run eatery has a great selection of tasty soups and a variety of daily specials (pasta, rice, meat and meat dishes).

I recommend the beef and milk soup in a bread bowl!

San Lorenzo

San Lorenzo was the Medici family church. Inside you can view art and architecture by MIchelangelo, Brunelleschi, Donatello and more.

Not a very exciting pic but I’m guessing you couldn’t take any inside.

Mesopotamia Kebab

Kebab places are all over Florence. Mesopotamia is one of the tastiest and the staff is very friendly to students.

Zecchi

Zecchi is one of many art stores in the city center. Many students go here for class supplies.

A Kent State favorite, Gatto has a great selection of pasta, pizza and meat dishes. They are very friendly and can accommodate large groups.

The Old Stove

There are several Old Stoves around Florence. It’s a good place to chill with friends and have a beer.
