Ponte Vecchio
Via Por S. Maria/Via Guicciardini
The Ponte Vecchio, or “old bridge,” is the only ancient one still standing in Florence after the bombing during WWII. Up until the 16th century it was lined with butcher shops. Now it contains fine jewelry shops. Most of the product is grossly overpriced but it’s still very fun to window show. There’s also a great photo op in the middle.
